Position Details: Senior Drafter
Description:
Echota Technologies Corporation is building a resume database for an engineering support contract that will be performed in Las Vegas, Nevada area. Work assignments may last from two weeks to six months. Notification for authorization to work may take place in as little time as five business days before the start of work. The work may require a security clearance. If a security clearance is required, applicants must be capable of obtaining a DOE "Q" security clearance and must be a US Citizen. · Must have a minimum of an associate degree in a field related to the position and a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in drafting related to Engineering and Construction.
· Background and experience must include drafting/designer experience in two or more engineering fields, such as electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural or civil.
· Proficiency in computer aided design (CAD) with demonstrated experience with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision.
· Read, interpret and generate design drawings with minimal input from a member of the engineering staff. Must have the ability to walk down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings, and direct junior drafters.
· Review drawings created by other drafters for consistency in application of processes and procedures.
