Position Details: Procurement Engineer
Description:
Echota Technologies Corporation is building a resume database for an engineering support contract that will be performed in Las Vegas, Nevada area. Work assignments may last from two weeks to six months. Notification for authorization to work may take place in as little time as five business days before the start of work. The work may require a security clearance. If a security clearance is required, applicants must be capable of obtaining a DOE "Q" security clearance and must be a US Citizen. Echota offers competitive salaries and paid travel expenses when travel criteria is met. Specific job qualifications are listed below.
· Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to engineering procurement.
· Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 or more years of related project engineering experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering and field experience .
· Demonstrated experience in federal government procurement procedures, laws and regulations.
· Develop and generate purchase requests and have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements for commercial grade dedication.
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in material and equipment receipt inspection, certificates of conformance and certified material test reports (CMTRs).
· Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of design and construction procurement responsibilities.
