Description:
Echota Technologies Corporation is building a resume database for an engineering support contract that will be performed in Las Vegas, Nevada area. Work assignments may last from two weeks to six months. Notification for authorization to work may take place in as little time as five business days before the start of work. The work may require a security clearance. If a security clearance is required, applicants must be capable of obtaining a DOE "Q" security clearance and must be a US Citizen. Echota offers competitive salaries and paid travel expenses when travel criteria is met. Specific job qualifications are listed below.
· Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to civil engineering design.
· Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or equivalent degree, with a minimum of 5 years combined relevant design/field experience required.
· Generate designs related to water distribution systems, water supply, sewage collection, distribution and treatment, grading and drainage, and pavement evaluation and design.
· Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications, while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects.
· Estimating and budgeting support.
· Preferred design software experience includes Flowmaster, Culvertmaster, and HEC-RAS.
· Familiarity with Microstation/Inroads computer-aided drafting applications is required.
