Echota Technologies Corporation is building a resume database for an engineering support contract that will be performed in Las Vegas, Nevada area.  Work assignments may last from two weeks to six months.  Notification for authorization to work may take place in as little time as five business days before the start of work.  The work may require a security clearance.  If a security clearance is required, applicants must be capable of obtaining a DOE "Q" security clearance and must be a US Citizen.  Echota offers competitive salaries and paid travel expenses when travel criteria is met.  Specific job qualifications are listed below.


•Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to civil engineering design.

•A minimum of 10 years experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects.

•Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

•Nevada Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain through alternate state reciprocity, required.

•Plan, organize, and coordinate civil engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.

•Generate designs related to water distribution systems, water supply, sewage collection, distribution and treatment, grading and drainage, and pavement evaluation and design.

•Conduct construction document reviews.

•Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations and specifications.

•Preferred design software experience includes Microsoft Office Suite of applications, Flowmaster, Culvertmaster, and HEC-RAS.

•Familiarity with Microstation/Inroads computer-aided drafting applications is required.
