Overview

The Echota Tactical Training Center (ETTC) is one of the premier training centers in the world today. The ETTC is a training cadre that combines military, law enforcement, emergency management, and nuclear security personnel in a unique mountainous training environment. Our staff has extensive tactical experience that can deliver the best training in firearms, driving, and situational awareness for your key personnel. Our training is designed to increase your abilities to cope and analyze your options in a violent, high-stress environment, increasing your survivability.

Our training curriculum is designed using a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). It is centered on the concept of performance-oriented instructional mastery and proper sequencing of instructional activities. We operate with an integrated risk management system. Our safety specialists, working with the curriculum designers of each lesson plan, create a risk assessment of the activities involved in the training blocks. Mitigation strategies are engineered into each training activity to provide safety in all training venues. Our instructors are trained in safety evaluation and mitigation to assure optimal safety in the training environment, yet still provide realistic and real-world training. We have several instructional designers and subject matter experts on staff that will custom design our curriculum to meet your unique or special training needs.

Facilities
The Echota Tactical Training Center is located on 360 acres in the Cumberland Mountain range of East Tennessee in Lake City, TN, 26 miles north of Knoxville. We have access to over 72,000 additional acres. The location provides seclusion and privacy, as well as close proximity to Knoxville for easy accessibility.

The ETTC is available for your organization to conduct your own training using our facilities. Our driving course, range, and the network of roads and trails throughout the 72,000 acres provides a unique mountainous range and driver training experience. ETTC staff oversight is available to aid your staffing preparation of your training needs.

The ETTC training staff has the experience and capability to respond to your training needs in security, driving safety, and critical incident management preparation.
