Executive Survival Training

In this post 911 world, traveling around the world to conduct business has become very dangerous for American businessmen. Terrorist groups are targeting American businessmen as prime targets for capture. The official US Government policy is that they will not negotiate or deal with any terrorist group or organization. This places you and your company in the position with having to deal with terrorist demands.

The 3 -5 day course will introduce the participants to terrorism and various active terrorist groups that operate around the world today, Individual Protection Methods, Surveillance Detection, Hostage Survival and pistol and carbine firearms usage, marksmanship and advanced driving. enhanced their ability not to be taken hostage, survive, escape if taken hostage.

This course will accomplish this by providing training in the following areas.

Part 1: Antiterrorism (1 Day) (9-10 hours)

Administrative Material (1 Hour)
Lesson Plan 1: Introduction to Terrorism (2 Hours)
Goal: The participants that are traveling anywhere in the world will understand how to minimize their vulnerability to a terrorist attack.
Objectives: The student will be able to:

  • Define terrorism and the motivations and goals of terrorist groups
  • .
  • Describe the characteristics, the organizational structure, and the typical training program of a terrorist group.
  • Describe the common effort that exists among terrorist groups.
  • Describe the planning and the execution of a terrorist operation.

Lesson Plan 2: Surveillance Detection (2 Hour)
Goal; The participant will be able to detect terrorist surveillance.
The participant will be able to:

  • Describe the objectives, the characteristics, and the techniques of terrorist surveillance.
  • Employ techniques for detecting and reporting terrorist surveillance.

Lesson Plan 3: Individual Protection Measures (2 Hour)
Goal that the participant be able to utilize Individual Protection Measures (IPM)
The Participant will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the proper techniques of searching a vehicle
  • Identify prospective terrorist threats within the area of interest
  • Describe the measures to take to determine the threat in any given area.
  • Describe how terrorists identify their victims.
  • Describe the terrorist considerations for target selection.
  • Explain the measures to be taken when traveling as a pedestrian.
  • Explain the protective measures to be used while traveling by automobile.
  • Describe the protective measures to be taken when traveling by air.
  • Explain the precautions for hotel residence security.
  • Explain the measures to be taken in residential security.
  • Explain the measures to be used while performing a car bomb search.
  • Describe countermeasures to be used to protect the office from terrorist attacks. To include postal bomb recognition.

Lesson Plan 4: Hostage Survival (2 Hour)
Goal is for the participant to survive a hostage situation
The participant will be able to:

  • Explain the reasoning behind the taking of hostages.
  • Describe the different categories of hostage takers.
  • Describe personal contingency planning.
  • Describe the actions to take at the moment of capture.
  • Define the Stockholm syndrome.
  • Describe the adjustments to captivity during a hostage ordeal.
  • Define stress management strategies.
  • Describe the actions to take during a rescue or release operation.
  • Explain the proper actions to take during the aftermath of a hostage situation.

Part 2: Shooting

Basic Firearms: Day 2, (10 – 12 hour day)
(RSO Ratio for a day shoot will be 1–8 Ratio, for a night shoot the ratio will be 1 – 4 ratio.
Training will depend upon which weapon system that the participants want. Main points 1-3 are generic to any weapon system. We are prepared to teach any weapon that the participants requests.

1. Basic Safety training:

  • General firearm safety briefing
  • Instruction on the capability of firearms, ammunition and the implications
  • Firearms safety information for each type of firearm
  • Practice loading and unloading of firearms
  • Range safety procedures
  • Dry firing techniques
  • Handling of misfires, malfunctions, etc.
  • Procedures for clearing malfunctions
  • Procedures for cleaning, inspecting, loading and unloading, assembling and disassembling weapons
  • Firearms accidents
